Getting Started

This guide walks you through your first steps with Queria. In less than 5 minutes you'll be able to navigate the interface, ask the AI assistant questions and upload your first documents.

Platform access

You can sign in to Queria in three ways:

  • Email and password: enter the credentials provided by your organization administrator.
  • Google SSO: click "Sign in with Google" to authenticate with your company Google account.
  • Microsoft SSO: click "Sign in with Microsoft" to use your Microsoft 365 account.

After your first login, the system will automatically assign you the role and permissions configured by the administrator.

First access?

If you don't have credentials yet, contact your company administrator. If your organization uses Google or Microsoft as identity provider, you might be able to sign in directly with your business account.

Interface overview

Queria's interface is organized into three main areas:

On the left you find:

  • New conversation: button to start an empty chat.
  • Conversation history: list of previous conversations, sorted by date. You can rename, archive or delete them.
  • Navigation: quick access to documents, topics and settings (if your role allows it).

Central chat area

The main space where you interact with the AI assistant. Here you see:

  • The conversation messages (yours and the assistant's).
  • Citations to sources with colored badges.
  • Follow-up suggestions proposed by the assistant.
  • The input field to write your questions.

Filter panel (optional)

On the right, expandable via the filter icon, you find smart filters to refine searches: document type, date range, topics, entities and more.

Your first question

  1. Click New conversation in the sidebar.
  2. In the input field at the bottom, type a question in natural language. E.g.:

"What are the contractual conditions for service renewal?"

  3. Press Enter or click the send button.

The assistant will analyze your question, search for relevant information across the available documents and generate a structured answer.

Upload your first document

To give the assistant material to work on, upload a document:

  1. In the chat, click the attachment icon (paperclip) next to the input field.
  2. You can drag the file into the chat area (drag & drop) or click to select it from your computer.
  3. Wait for the system to complete processing. A progress bar shows the status.
  4. Once ready, the document is immediately available for questions in the current conversation.

Supported formats

Queria accepts PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, CSV, images (JPG, PNG) and many more. Scanned documents and images are automatically processed with OCR.

Understanding the answer

Every assistant answer can include multiple elements:

Text with citations

The answer body contains numbered references like [1], [2], [3]. Each number corresponds to a specific source used to build the answer.

Source badges

At the bottom of the answer you find colored badges for the sources:

  • Blue: uploaded company documents.
  • Green: documents from the Knowledge Base.
  • Amber: certified legal sources.
  • Orange: certified food sources.
  • Teal: certified chemical sources.
  • Purple: certified pharmaceutical sources.
  • Gray: indexed web pages.

Clicking a badge you can view the original passage of the document.

Reasoning panel

Clicking "Show reasoning" expands a panel that shows, step by step, how the assistant processed the answer: which sources it consulted, how it decomposed the question and with what confidence level it generated the answer.

Follow-up suggestions

The assistant proposes related questions you can click to dig into the topic without having to type them.

Tips for effective questions

  • Be specific: "What's the penalty for delay in delivery in the contract with Supplier X?" works better than "Tell me about the contract".
  • Provide context: "In the 2025 balance sheet, how did revenue evolve compared to 2024?" is more effective than "How did the revenue go?".
  • Ask for comparisons: "What are the differences between policy A and policy B?" triggers the AI comparative mode.
  • Use filters: if you have many documents, select a topic or a date range to narrow the search.

Using Queria beyond the web app

Beyond the web app, since v3.5.0 you can interact with the company bot through other channels:

  • WhatsApp: pair your number from your profile and chat with the bot directly from WhatsApp. See WhatsApp Chat.
  • Embedded widget: if the admin has integrated the widget on the company site, you use it without login. See Widget.
  • AI Constructor: specialized sector agents that query external sources (tourism, tax, healthcare). See AI Constructor.
